I’ve incorporated these pills with a 13 week running program and will tell you the results once completed.
I was already actively working out before taking these pills, but not working towards increasing my running time.
Here’s what I have noticed: they take my appetite…like completely.
When I take them before a meal, I will usually drink at minimum, two glasses of water with it…some may think “well that’s what taking your appetite”. Well, you’d have to know me to know that’s NEVER the case with me. The whole drink water thing before you eat has never ever staved off hunger for me. I consider myself a foodie….
I’m not obese, but marginally overweight, about 10 – 15 pounds…depending on how you rate the BMI chart (which isn’t too high on my chart since it rated me in the past at 27.1 but when a fat caliper test was done, I was at 23.7, due to having large amounts of muscle mass).
Also, I tried the other product by this company (green bottle) and found the same thing: lack of appetite.
I was losing weight (about 4 pounds in two weeks) but then started eating like I was superwoman and pretty much gained back most of it.
So now I’m trying this one, for the long haul though, the entire 12 weeks which coincides with my running program.
These pills tell you to take 2 – 3X’s per day, but I find doing 2 in the a.m., and one each at lunch and dinner seem adequate (the amounts recommended on Dr. Oz show based on the study was less than what one of these pills provides so they can last longer than recommended.)
Also, no nausea, after taste or side effects (that I’ve noticed).
They are NOT supposed to have much caffeine in them, but taking them lessens my urge for coffee too so go figure that one
